The 2nd Annual Running Dead 5k is set to plague Barboursville Park on Friday evening, October 30th. This unique after dark road race is sure to be zombie-tastic! Come on out and join us for an evening of FUN...and watch out for the ZOMBIES!!!!!!
ALL proceeds will benefit the Youth Programming at the J.W. Scott Community Center. Youth Programing at the Scott Community Center is diverse and varied, including classes in money management, literacy, computer basics, tutoring, arts & crafts, anti-bullying and personal safety presentations, outdoor activities and cultural learning events.
Use your BRAINS and register for The Running Dead 5k! The race starts at ends by the Lake at Barboursville Park. Pre-race zombie activities begin at 6pm, 5k starts at 7pm! You can walk, run, crawl, stagger or whatever it take to outrun the ZOMBIES!!!
BEWARE......ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE!!!!
Join us for the Drop Dead Beauty Contest (Best dressed Zombie and best dressed Human)!! HUMANS are encouraged to dress in costume!!!

Come out and learn the Thriller dance, Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture show and many more of your Halloween favorites as part of the warm-up with the Brickhouse Cardio Club!! Warm-up starts at 6pm.
