A Heart Like Ava was created in memory of 6 1/2 month old Ava Mae Lasseter, who lost her battle with Congenital Heart Defects last year, on May 23, 2014. At least 50% of the proceeds from this race will be donated to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Heart Institute Research Center, where advances are being made in the treatment of CHDs. The remainder of the proceeds will fund the AHLA care package program and provide assistance directly to families affected by Congenital Heart Defects.

The race will take place within the beautiful Woodmere Memorial Park. The unique route offers a combination of paved & off-road rolling terrain. The Mission of Jeannie's Wish, Inc. is to raise community awareness of brain aneurysms, their symptoms and increase early detection. The proceeds raised from this event will be utilized for an annual Jeannie Gatrell Memorial Scholarship, provided to a student residing in West Virginia or the Tri-state community who has been impacted in some way by a brain aneurysm.

The course is mostly flat with killer obstacles. Expect walls, barbed wire, pain, fire, creek run, mud crawl and more pain!! This course was designed to test your limits! Help stomp out tobacco use at the second annual Raven Rock Ash Dash. The race is a 5k course with several obstacles. It is designed to test your limits, get your adrenaline pumping and see if you have what it takes to finish! All Participants will receive an Ash Dash race t-shirt and a finishers award!
