Charleston Distance Run Approaching

There are just 53 days until the Charleston Distance Run, and several key deadlines are approaching.

 

 

 

Participants in the 15-mile race must register by July 15 to take advantage of the $40 early registration fee. This is a savings of $10 to $20, depending on the time of registration. The fee goes to $50 after July 15 for those who register by Aug. 5. Late registration after that date is $60 up to 9 p.m. Aug. 29.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, time also is ticking on special singlet orders. Orders for the special $30 Brooks running singlet that features the CDR logo must be received by July 31.

 

 

 

This year’s Charleston Distance Run is scheduled to begin 7:30 a.m. Aug. 30 on Kanawha Boulevard at the West Virginia Capitol. Participants can

 

choose from the 15-mile run; three-person, 15-mile

 

relay; 5K run and 5K and 10K walks.
